This unique wine is made using a similar process to that of traditional port producing, with the fermentation process interrupted through the addition of fermented pomegranate juice, resulting in a wine with a high alcohol and sugar content. It is then aged for 18 months in French oak barrels in Rimon Winery’s special aging sun room.
Dark purple and maroon in colour, this wine has a nose of stone fruits and sweet spices. A full bodied port, it is sweet on the palate, but not overwhelming, with a smooth mouth feel and a delicate warm finish.
